I will take some more pictures when I have the chance. I figured I would post pictures here since this is one of the rarer and seldom seen Glocks: The Glock 18.
I am an FFL / SOT dealer south of Houston and had to get a law enforcement demonstration letter to obtain this gun. This particular gun came out of a Sheriff's department that was liquidating its machinegun inventory.
I definitely wish I could own a G18, just to say I have one. I bet it's a pain in the ass to shoot though. X amount of time to load a magazine, and a tiny fraction of that amount to empty the magazine. Seems like it'd get old pretty quick. :tongueout:

I've heard that there are fewer than 10 that actually came into the country pre-1986. Prices on those known to exist are 50 k and up! Probably better to rent for an hour or so from a class 3 ffl.
Even if in the country pre May 19, 1986 they would not be fully transferable but would be pre-86 DS guns. $50K seems crazy for a pre-86DS. I would think that a pre-86DS factory original MP5K would be about the most desirable pre sample 9mm SMG (yes, the G18 is not a SMG but a machine pistol). Anyway, there are about 19 such K guns. They bring about $20K . That said, I've never seen a pre 86 DS G18 sold but 50K would be astounding. Of course, if only one is sold and the buyer had $$$ anything is possible.

From my understanding there are ZERO transferable ones since the 1968 ban made it illegal for machineguns to be imported and registered for civilian ownership.Only LEO and Military.
I've only shot a pistol full auto once in my life and I didn't care for it. It was a converted Beretta 92 that belonged to a local C3 dealer. I shot two thirty round magazines through it and that was enough. VERY hard to control.
Saw my first G18 today at the gun show in Dallas. Display only, the dealer is a Class 3 and he frequents the shows in this area. Next time I see him I will try and get more info about it.
