GLIPSC Thursday 3-13-08 Match Results

Discussion in 'Bluegrass Glockers' started by TreehugginGlock, Mar 13, 2008.

  1. Wonderful turn out on such a wonderful evening. Even saw some new faces, though some didn't shoot, but promise to shoot next time. Thanks goes out to Dean and Greg for setting up a quick fire challenge to prepare for the IPSC classifier match this Sunday out at Silver Creek.

There were 3 targets. At the buzzer, fire 2 rounds in each target (free style), mag change, 2 rounds in each target (free style), mag change then 2 rounds in each target (strong hand only). Nothing fancy, just a really good practice string.

Jim G gave us all a great show with his blinding Blazer ammo flaming out the sides and barrel of his compensated gun. Should have worn my sunglasses. I'm still seeing spots.

Here's how it all shook down:

    1. Dean F 5.733 - G35
    2. Gene L 5.113 - G35
    3. Floyd C 4.426 - G22
    4. Greg H 4.410 - G34
    5. Bob K 4.298 - 1911 45
    6. Leigh Ann J 4.255 - G17
    7. Eric B 4.135 - G23
    8. Jim G 4.072 - G21C
    9. Brandon E 3.315 - XD45
    10. Trey C 2.668 - G17
    11. Ed Miles 0.00 - G23
    11. Claude Wright 0.00 - XD45

After the match, everyone stuck around to help with the clean up of our match gear. Thanks guys for all of the help. Now we can find our long lost targets and forgotten "Who Dat In My Backyard" props. Sounds like we might have to dust the props off and play with them again soon.

I was celebrating my daughter's birthday.

Looks like you had a good match and a decent turnout.

Pfft...She's welcome at the shoot...Hell Jim could have Lit her Candles with his Flamethrower. Those Flames would Make PowerPistol whimper in Awe.

    See you next week..
