My brother tells me of a recipe for beef wrapped dill pickle that he says is a German recipe. Anyone heard of this? I've looked online but the links I've shown him aren't the one he remembers.

My mom use to make this all the time and I loved it. I’ve made it several times using her recipe and it’s still good … but it just doesn’t taste the same. I don't make it very often because it is a lot of work and my wife doesn't care for the onions or pickles. I hadn't thought about it in a long while ... me thinks it's time to fix it again!
