at first i thought it was a dumb idea, but after reading the article i am rapidly warming up to the idea.
I've got no problem with the idea. Shoot first, drink after. The range will probably make more sales too.
That is AWESOME! Wish they'd make one in Phoenix..
What an awesome place!
We need more of those.
When I retire, I think I could go for something like that. Add a nice cigar selection and I'm there!
Welcome to the real world of shooting. We've had this in MEX since forever.
Now, hold my beer, get me that gun and watch this...
The range downtown when I was stationed in Germany sold drinks. I never drank there. I believe the two don't mix. They even dressed for the range!
I fail to see any downside, I've said before the most fun I've ever had in my life shooting involved some trucks full of guns and beer with some good friends parked out in a field.
People take things way too seriously these days. Relax and have a little fun in life, you'll live longer.
This isn't exactly a new idea...I know of several private shooting ranges with their own bars that do the same thing. Once you've ordered a drink, they mark your hand with a big X and you're done shooting for the day. It's never been a problem AFAIK.
We have had a lot of fun afternoons shooting skeet and having a few beers.
The best target is a freshly emptied beer can.
I too used to belong to a private club that had a "lounge". No big deal, it was for after range time.
People shoot better when they are relaxed.
Oh yeah, I could see Nanny Bloomberg giving that the green light in New York.
Great idea. I'm jealous.
With you all the way!
until the topic of politics is breached. Where I am at now a large majority of gun owners are "sheeple" DemoRats and I have seen some very heated exchanges at gun ranges over this. VERY.
Bad ju ju. Guns & alcohol don't mix. Period.
