  1. Will do, I need to wait until the wife gets done selling girl scout cookies so she can come back and watch the monkeys before I can go. Will check in this evening.

Gen4 G19, test-fire date of 1/30/12, with milling by Glockworx. No issues in first 300 rds. [IMG]

For comparison, this is Gen3 G19 from 2009 (3200 rds), milling by GT member Mark Housel while working for TSD, which has has been perfect as well.

  3. Back from the range. Put an additional 300xFederal Champion & 100xWWB. Had to slow myself down because I was going through it quick. Zero issues, not one piece of brass touched me, all ejected properly with authority. That's 1000 through it so far (all WWB & FED)....I take that back...that's 1020 through it because I also shot some carry ammo today. Super happy with it. The G26 Gen 4 is equally as reliable. Going to see if I can sneak out again tomorrow.

Hey Bentbiker, that's a sweet setup. How tall are your BUIS's on the Gen 4?

    Edit: .220?

  4. Gen 4 G17
Bought used last year from a GT forum member,( Thanks alot buddy :wavey:)

    manufacture date October 2010

    B. I have ejection problems with this handgun

FTE's and erratic ejecting at my forehead

Finally sent it off to Glock last week for repair. Will report back when it gets back home.

On a side note, So far I'm really impressed with Glock's customer service. I emailed them about the problem and they actually called me the next day! Less than 24hr response. They are fixing it on their dime. I had to pay shipping though because the gun was more than a year old. I'm ok with that. I hope this gets fixed right, I really like this gun. It's so fast shooting and very accurate.

  5. I've called their customer service recently to take care of the RSA exchange on my G19 Gen 4 but I'd like to be able to email Glock Customer Service, I rather do e-mail than talk on the phone sometimes. Can someone provide Glock's Customer Service Email address? Thanks,

  6. You can send an email to them with this form. Select warranty department. They never emailed me back though, I got a call from them less than 24hrs after I emailed them explaining my problem.

  7. Gen4 Glock 19 - no problems.

  8. I'll be anxious to see your report. I sent my Gen 4 G19 back and got it back this week. Still shoots about the same. My Gen 4 G23 shoots great, though. I'm not sure I can afford to keep both. But I don't want to dump a problem on someone else, so I think I'll shoot it for a while and if it doesn't improve, I'll send it back again.

  9. I really hope mine gets fixed since I had to pay for shipping. I bought mine used so I know how it feels to get a problem dumped on you. You could always be honest with the buyer and advertise it at a reduced rate if you really want to get rid of it.

Sounds like you think, as do I, in terms of height above the slide. I measure about .256" (6.5mm). Lest anyone be confused, this is taller than the std 6.5mm Glock sights, since Glock measures from the top of the sight to the bottom of the dovetail; on the front sight, they measure the height above the slide.

While I like the look of the lower Glockworx sights and the fact that they are flush with the back of the slide, they are not an exact co-witness. POA with the BUIS is about 2" lower than POI. However, for emergency BUIS at SD distance, and their primary function of finding the dot, I'm sure they will be fine. Besides, Ameriglo has discontinued their suppressor sights, so I couldn't get the same sights as on the Gen3.

I have a gen 4 22,23, and 2 gen 4 17s. The g22&23 were purchased prior to July 2011. The 17s have been purchased since the first of the year.

No issues with any or the 4. The 22 and one 17 are duty guns for edc on duty and the 23 is my ccw/off duty gun. The other 17 is just cause.

I have gotten some brass in my face. Is that a Gen 4 problem? A problem with the Gen 4 26 in particular? Is there and ejector recall?

    C. I had ejection problems, Glock (or armorer) fixed it, and it now rocks.
Not sure I have a problem.

    D. I had ejection problems, Glock (or armorer) fixed them, but it still isn't right.
    N/A

    3. Notes/comments regarding your situation and your thoughts on this issue.
Was there any issue with any Gen 4 26s?

PS: For what it's worth, my 26's brass date is 01/27/11. How do I check my extractor type?

  15. 1-2man

    1-2man Part Time

Shot 410 rounds through my new Gen 4 G-19. Zero issues. A few pieces of brass to the head on one hand and weak hand shooting (also happens with my other Glocks if I don't have a firm grip.) All with my personal light reloads.

  16. Went back to the range again today. The 19 is continuing to perform flawlessly. I used Fed Champion today. My 26 is the same way.

  17. 250 rounds downrange now in my g22. No issues whatsoever. All brass landed nicely in a pile at 3'o clock.

It's a pain in the ass but it's a great shooting gun so I will give it a chance. An armorer is looking at it and hopefully will have it fixed soon.

  19. The gun just got back yesterday and I'm picking it up from FedEX this afternoon. I'll have to wait till the weekend to shoot it though. will report back with my results.

  20. Gen4 G22 no problems.
