First thing this morning - I tried to go to the gun show - traffic going into the show was backed up for over a mile - I figured there was an accident - when I got closer I realized - the reason cars were backed up was because the parking lot at the show was FULL - no place to park - so I said screw it and turned around and went home.

Coming home from lunch I could see things had cleared out so I stopped.

    First thing I saw was a GEN3 G21 - stock sights - $605.

    Next table I spotted a GEN4 G21 with night sights - $650.

I looked at the test date 11/6/2011 - I could not recall if the GEN4 was still having problems during this date - so I ask the seller if he had any others.

He pulls out an April 10, 2012 - so I grabbed it.

Any one have a Newer GEN4 than this?:tongueout:

Congratulations, the Gen4 Glock 21 is a terrific 45ACP pistol. Any issue date of that pistol is good.

To my knowledge, and I've read every review I come across, the Gen4 G21 has been good to go from the first release in May, 2011. It shouldn't be tainted by the prior problems (real and imagined) experienced by the Gen4 9mm pistols.

    Enjoy shooting your Gen4 G21!

    I know about the $491 GEN4 under GSSF - considered it -

The closest place that sells them is clear across town - by the time I included the 2 year membership of $60 and ~~$100 for night sights - it would have been close $ wise.

Last GEN4 I saw was $650 with stock sights - so I don't feel too bad paying $650 for this one (actually $703.61 - freaking sales tax:steamed:)

I just loaded up the mags -

First one took 13 rounds no problem - the other 2 would only hold 12 - so I unloaded them and tried a second time - was able to get #13 in both but OMG it was tight.

Think I will leave them all loaded until I can get to the range and test it out - maybe they will loosen up a bit.

The holster I already have for a full size M&P40 is a perfect fit for the G21 - surprised me a little -

I may need to get a shoulder holster for it - may be a little big for IWB carry. :whistling:

Truth is the reason I wanted another 45 ACP is because I have so many rounds of ammo socked away - and will never live long enough to shoot it all with the only other 45 ACP I have - a Commander size 1911.

I have 45 ACP Blazer Brass that is so old it was only $10.47 a box - at the time I recall feeling like that was TOO MUCH $ - now wish I would have purchased more.

Wow that is insanely over priced for a gun show. I got my g17 gen 4 for $515.

Actually I think it was a pretty good deal - definitely NOT insanely over priced. You need to compare the same model & options. Not all Glocks are the same price.

    Can you find a lower priced G21 with night sights? I paid $650 + tax = $704.

I had been searching all over - almost ordered from Glockmeister $597 + $75 (night sights) + $25 transfer = $697. I paid an extra $7 - worth that much to see and handle the specific gun before I buy it.

    Same show a GEN4 G21 with stock sights was $589 -

    GEN4 --G19/17/22/23/26/27 stock sights ranged from $519-$547.

    GEN4 --G19/17/22/23/26/27 with night sights $547-$629.

If you bought a GEN4 G17 in the last month - with night sights - NIB for $515 then you got a GREAT DEAL.

    Seems like GEN4 adds ~~ $50, G21 (vs 9MM) adds ~~ $50, night sights add ~~$70.

The Gen4 Glocks go for $550-599 in central Ohio. I bought my G19 gen4 for $599 last april, a year ago exactly. When I called the same shop a month ago to check if they had a G26 they told me $599. I was like "WHAT?!?" I couldn't believe they were still that high. This was the only place I could find a Gen4 G26 however.Apparently the place I was going to purchase it from had their own warranty. They told me if my pistol breaks they would service it right there, and I didn't need to ship it out. I told him I'll fix it myself if it breaks, that's why I love Glock's. I got him down to $569. Not great but I got $575 out of my G19 so I got it. I wish I could have picked it up for $515. That's partly why I'm going to be buying all my Glock's from pawn shops and gun shows in the future. Being on these forums for a while, I know there are some deals to be had if your willing to scour the pawns for em'. Glock 19 gen 2 is first on my list....

The same guy at the gun show I bought my g17 for $515 from also had a 21 gen 4 for $515 w/o night sights. I guess it's just cheaper down here at gun shows.

That is good pricing on the 45 ACP Glock - how long ago?

Houston / Texas always seems fairly competitive - gun price wise - $515 is barely above the GSSF price of $491.

I was happy to find one at any price - local gun dealers had zero in stock -

If I could find one here for $515 I would buy it as a spare.

February. It was bought by the guy behind me in the paperwork processing line. There were so many people at the one here in town, there was a line at each booth just to see the guns.
