I was sitting here thinking about this and It dawned on me that I haven't seen anything written anywhere about it yet. A while back, there were issues with some Gen 3 Glock 22 pistols that had a light mounted. It was said that some guns had feeding issues with the light attached. I wonder if Glock addressed the issue with the Gen 4 Glock 22 or if anyone has had issues with their Gen 4 Glock 22 with a light attached to it? :dunno:

I haven't heard of any issues with a light and a Gen4 G22. I'm sure if they had we would have heard something by now. FWIW, I did shoot a brand new G23 Gen 4 w/x300 on it with no problems.

That's kind of what I was figuring on. I agree. Considering all the Gen 4 bashers, I think they would just love to jump on this if there was a problem. Also, it's good to know your Gen 4 23 is working with the light. Have you had a chance to shoot a Gen 4 Glock 22 yet? If so, how does the Gen 4 23 handle compared to the Gen 4 22 and also compared to a Gen 3 23?

Gen 4 bashers are of the 9mm kind
.40 cal gen 4's are mostly trouble free
Tac light problems have been fixed for good on the gen 4. I have almost 1K with X300 & zero problems on my G22. All types of ammo

Never a single prob with my Gen4 22 with a TLR-1 light attached to it. I have about 3500 rounds down the pipe of it. I bought it early in 2010 when they were released.

All of my other Gen4's have also be flawless in the few rounds that have been fired.

Get one. Shoot it. Love it.

I was about to upload a picture of my setup but snichols looks exactly like mine. Except my holster is different.

The day I was issued the 22 I put my TLR-1s on it. So far I'm around 500 - 750 rounds through it and I have not had any kind of issues so far. The light has been there every single shot.
