gen 4 17 scratch marks on inside of slide

    I notice last night when I was cleaning my gen 4 17 there were some scuff and scratch marks on the inside of my slide on the left side of the ejection port. The largest scratch is vertical on the slide wall behind the ejector. It looks to me like the barrel has been hitting the inside of the slide in front of the ejector. Has anyone else noticed this on there slide? I tried to take a picture and post with this, but could not get it to come out clear enough.

    if you have a regular digital camera, put it on macro (the indicator on your camera screen will be a flower) then take the pics. That should work alot better...

    I went by the gun store where I purchased the gun this afternoon on my way home from work to look at some used glocks to see if any of them had the scratch that mine did.

    All the used glocks in the case had the same scratch mark as mine did.
