Evening folks. I recently purchased a 3rd gen 26 and I have not even gotten any range time with her. I cleaned her up today and noticed she had the 336 ejector that has received bad press as of late. What should I look out for at the range?

I have 3 x 9mm Glocks that are pre 2010 manufacture, including a G26. They all have that ejector. They all run tops, and have from day one. My latest G17, test fire date 3/1/2012 is back at Glock currently.

You should be good to go. I think if I buy anymore 9mm models they will be police trades or older used ones unless I can crack open the case and check the test fire date.

I had a 19 (Dec.09) that ejected all over the place including left, foward, head and face.

the fix for it was a 30274 ejector and another extractor.

Get to the range and see how if performs.......if you have issues, replace it.

I've got a Gen 3, G26 with a 336 ejector, a dipped, non-polished LCI extractor that falls out on it's own. My slide is the rough, grey finish. Fired date is June of 2011. It operates flawlessly in every way.

This forum has had a bad influence on you, don't worry about it until you get some brass stuck in your forehead.

No doubt it's fine. I love shooting this little Glock, maybe even more than the G19 I had a while back. It is a great carry gun that I hope I never have to use, but won't think twice about it performing if I do.

    I have a 26 (2005) that ejected everywhere.
Changed the 336 ejector to a 30274 ejector.
It is a little better but not by much.

Lone Wolf sells them. I ordered one this morning for my gen4. It comes in the trigger housing, not by itself. You can call glock but they wont send one to you unless you're an armorer. Lone Wolf doesn't sell the 30274 already installed in a gen3 trigger housing, nor do they sell it by itself. You'll have to buy a gen4 trigger housing and remove the ejector and install it in your trigger housing. The housings are different between gen3 and gen4.
