    They built three '55 Chevys for the movie, two with jacked up nose and beam axles and one with stock coil spring suspension. They destroyed one of the beam axle cars making the movie. Harrison Ford drove the other one in American Graffiti and they used the coil spring car for Harrison Ford's wreck,
