After reading the thread about who carries rope, I wanted to see what everyone carries in their turnouts.
    In my pockets, I have:
    1 4-way screwdriver
    Neddle nose pliers
    Vise Grips
    EMS Shears
    Box Cutter
20 ft. piece of webbing with carabiner sewn in
    8mm rope
    Pelican flashlight
    Door chocks and sprinkler wedges
on my helmet I have a Garrity Light, door chock, 2 sprinkler wedges, and three nails to use as door stops as well.

  2. Ill chime in too, I carry in my bunker coat, two pairs of gloves, one for fire fighting and one of those Mechanics gloves for rescue. Four dooor chocks, some friction loss cheat sheets(really handy at 3am when everyone is screaming at you!) A key to the fire house, ear plugs, and the Fire Fighters Prayer. In my bunker pants I keep 50 foot of rope, a rope hose tool, Pelican Super sabre light, and one of those folding spanner wrenches. Some of the guys that I work with laugh at me but these things come in handy at a job.
