Helluva round, it's what my son carries in his G22. I've fired it in his gun and feels great, either that or the 165.

I'd imagine that the 155 gr. would be a bit snappy in the G27, might want to go to a 180 grain bullet or better yet Speer's short barrel version.

    It's pretty nice
It's the only bonded 155 gr. HP and the only 155 I would consider using for SD or hunting. A very good bullet that holds up well to 10mm velocities, it's a good choice for self defense IMO.

Pre-Obama, I was able to find this locally for 12.99 a box of 50.
Naturally I tried to stock up.
I find that it is HOT and accurate.

That price must have been many years ago.

    G22 and G27

Speer GD 180 gr or Federal HST 180 gr
    and
Speer TMJ 180 gr or Federal FMJ 180 gr

also have some Federal 165 gr FMJs and WWB 165gr

had some Federal 155gn HSTs. bit too snappy for me

    prefer the 180 grs

buy several different premium wts. Try them out.

Figure out which ones you can do a quick triple tap and have great accuracy.

forget what the box or any forum says. Shot placement is what counts.
