    Amen! Preach it, brother.

    I'm feeling hopeful that there are still a majority of Americans who have brains and values. We shall see.

    Nov 6th is a critical day in American history. GET OUT AND VOTE AGAINST OBAMA!

    You can sure sense the desperation and panic in the DUers, "centrists" and truth-squadders who post here. :supergrin:

    I don't necessarily think there is a larger percentage of new republicans voting or people that have change to the GOP. I think you will see very low voter turnout for Obama's base. It has to be difficult to vote for him with a straight face and in good conscience. My bet is that they will stay home to save face.

    I'm a centrist who normally leans a little left, but I'm not desperate or panicking. Truth be told, in Texas, not voting for Obama is the same as voting for Mitt, and I'm not going to cast a presidential vote this year.

    Obama needs to go, but Mitt is not my candidate.

    Many of the polling models showing Obama tied or up are using 2008 Democratic voting levels, which ain't going to happen this year. The GOP base is waaay more excited to vote this time. And remember most of the undecideds traditionally vote against the incumbent.

    So how is Obama going to go if you don't vote him out?

    Isn't that what "Centrists" do? They can't make the tough decisions or take a stand so they have to rely on others to do their dirty work? I actually have more respect for people that say, I'm voting for Obama and here's why than people like our centrists here who say something similar to what the Petty Officer did...

    Centrists are what lefties call themselves when their candididate is losing or embarrassing himself.

    Think of it in a bigger picture:

    Any vote that brings Obama closer to winning, is a vote for Obama.

    Voting is an expression of individual beliefs, to people who are full of self. It is a desire to influence the country's direction, to people who see outside of self.

    That's fine, you can always say that for the most important election in your lifetime, You stood on the sidelines. When America needed you, you stood down! You're not the kind we count on, you're not the kind we expect to do the heavy lifting. You are a lieberal.

    Of course! All of the "centrists" here just lean a tiny, little, itty bitty, fractional (almost infinitestimal really) amount to the left. :supergrin:

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Leftists are going to have to come up with a new code word that doesn't tip everyone off -- "centrist" just doesn't cut it any more. [IMG]

    "Centrist" = lying liberal socialist scum with no ethics and no grasp of reality. Guess it's time for a new smokescreen.

    I have only just realised that being a little bit left is very like being a little bit pregnant.
