Well I got the Foundation in, I have water and Conduit for elec run from house underground to Shop, Radiant Heat is in 4 200 FT Loops. Hopefully framing will start this week, Shop will be 28 X 28 with 10 Ft ceilings on the first floor and 8 ft ceilings on the second floor. Back of shop is about 4 Foot under ground with sides sloping down to 2 Foot toward the front.

SOme pic's show snow fence $200.00 worth to try and keep chickens out so there not eatting seed and some show where I had to dump all the dirt that cam out, I used it to raise a spot in the back where I plan to put a pole barn.

Cool. What are you going to waterproof the foundation walls with? Are you going to use fiberglass batt insulation or spray foam?

I am unsure yet, I am going to tar the outside and Prob use fiberglass for insulation. I love spray foam and used it in parts of my house But not sure if I want to spend that kinda money.

If you're going fiberglass, use spray foam around windows and doors, and at any wall penetrations. You should also use it between the concrete and framing as that is a common heat leakage point.

I am going to use OSB on the inside walls, and ceiling, I got all of the lumber from the local saw mill for framing and siding, and I am putting on a Metal roof Grambel style, its going to have a barn feel to it. I am not doing regular garage doors, I am going to do 2 8 ft Sliders.

    Why are your trees orange?

Omg, I'd get that checked out before I worried about a garage!! Do you have a well for drinking water? I'd stop using it immediately.

It may be a week or so between picture posting, I should have the trusses this week, I hope to start framing by mid week, I know most of my framing lumber is cut already just have to get it from the saw mill.

Looks real nice so far! Did you insulate under your slab? I couldnt tell from the pics. I installed radiant heat in my basement floor and I really like it. What are you going to use for the heat source?

Yes I used the 2 Inch board insulation and the insultarp. I am unsure what I plan to use as far as the heat source, I am thinking just a LP 50 Water heater, I am not going to hook heat up til next fall, to much else going on.
