    Is this a drop-in conversion?

    Is reliability still good??

This is one of my carry guns so that is important.

It should work 100%, providing a slight increase in velocity but no improvement in accuracy.

My EDC gun is a G39 with a G38 barrel.

I had muzzle ports cut into the barrel to reduce muzzle flip.

    Reliability has been 100%.

Huh, I will have to see what that looks like when I get home. Can you do a 37 barrel in a 39?

No you cannot. The locking lugs are different from the full size barrel to the smaller ones.

I don't get it? Unless your using a holster with the muzzle exposed, shorter grip aside, what's the point?

I agree, I tried it to see what it looked like and then restored everything to where it should be. I don't see the advantage either. You would get a slight increase in velocity but have the shorter sight radius.
