My best friend would really like to purchase a G36 - especially after hearing my raves on this fine pistol. Problem is the recoil pinches his finger - badly. Tried both the standard mag. base and the Pearce +0 - no difference. We were thinking of possibly altering the mag base, not the pistol, to open up the gap between these two pinch points. Possibly grinding down with a Dremel, or similar tool. Curious to see if any G36, or other Glock models have been succesfully altered to avoid this dilemma. Thanks in advance for your comments.
