what for? if you plan to shoot a lot of lead and compete without cleaning your after every match/session, ok lang siguro.. but if it's for occasional plinking, matagal mo mababawi ang price nya.. just shoot the living daylight out of the stock bbl and clean after each session.. although medyo pogi points na nagpapalit ka ng barrel bago pumutok.. naks!:) :)

Saruman, di ba g35 gamit mo dati? Sa box compliant na mag setup, ilang rounds napag-kasya mo at ano klase'ng basepads?

saruman, takot ako sa KB, if i have an aftermarket barrel i can use the cases as long as wala pa crack, currently i have a g22, di ba notorious yon sa KB, i plan to convert it to g35, next on the list after the barrel is a g35 slide

    hi atmarcella,

in my experience, the newer(Gxx series) .40sw glocks have good chamber support. a friend of mine has been shooting reloads out of his g23c for some time now without any problems, he just cleans the barrel after about 200 rounds. unlike my experience with the g21, which leaves the the brass with the glock smile:) even have a case failure which blew out the mag(thankfull that i got away with it). solved the problem by using an aftermarket barrel with better support, now i can reload till the necks split:) btw, never had problems with the polygonal rifling of the barrel, just clean the barrel after shooting. i think the problem is in the chamber area which is a bit oversized for reliability in a military pistol designed to fire military ammo. and one more thing, never had problem with the g21 using military(r.p.a) brass(no glock smile even with major loads).

thanks cebuboy! actually i have been using reloads with teflon heads/bullets, i bought once fired cases and i have reloaded them twice already, i've participated in 2 level 1's and 2 level 2's with the these brass, medyo natatakot lang ako cos as i surf the net i read more and more abouts kb's especially the bigger caliber glocks, .40 above, that's why i've decided to get an aftermarket barrel, parang sabi ko sa sarili ko i'm pushing my luck na, di kaya? sayang kasi ang baril kung mag kb, kung sa states balik lang nila sa glock USA papalitan yon ng bago, dito sa atin sorry ka na lang, anyway pare tnx for the info :)

no prob, just remember to check your brass for bulges(glock smile). if the brass looks ok(no bulge in the 6:00 position) youre good to go:) i kind of ignored that and relied on my luck, kaya na sabugan. luckily no damage to gun and shooter, the mag did not look so good after that. but hey, it still works fine:) stay safe.

I'm sure a different gun if fired with the same overloaded/defective cartridge that destroyed that glock will meet the same fate.

    Right you are!

A horrendous catastrophic failure in a polymer pistol! Not only is it not a Glock, but it's got a fully supported chamber, to boot!

Sir kung KB ang ikinakatakot mo. Then most probably if you have one(god forbid), pati slide and frame mo di mo pakikinabangan. Just get another gun na pambugbugan.

That's what I had in mind. I'd rather buy a CZ or an Armscor 40 na pambarug. Pang japorms na lang yung G17.

Get the teflon heads from First Option or FMJ heads from Armscor then have them reloaded from Stronghand or True Weight.

All in all, how much will it cost me on the FMJ heads + reloading charge?

    Shooting
    Armscor FMJ - 2.56
    Stronghand - 3.50 ata (w primer na)

So, its around 6 bucks a pop. You provide the shells of course, which can range anywhere 2.50 for once fired to 5.++ for new shells.
