Have a new G17 and tried a Ghost 3.5# Ultimate drop-in trigger. Couldn't tell any difference so removed it and wondering if a stock G34 trigger assembly would work? Both the 17 and 34 are 4th gen. The G34 trigger is a little nicer than the other Glock triggers and I have the spare G34 trigger available. The 17 will be used for some competition but also an occasional carry gun so don't want to go to far with the trigger. Does Glock put their version of the 3.5 connector in the G34 trigger assembly?

Unless something has changed the only difference in a g34 and g17 trigger is the glock disconnector.

Yes it would fit, but the trigger bar/assembly are likely the same. To get the results your trying to achieve you'd need to switch out the connector from the 34(check, should be a - connector) to the 17.

  4. Connector!

OP- Glock's new measurement scheme claims 4.5 lbs from the (-) connector and that is more accurate when measured from where you actually pull the trigger. G34s may not come with (-) 4.5# connector - particularly Blue Labels. If your's did come with the (-) connector, the only difference in the entire trigger group will be the connector - and a G17 could have the (.) connector. I suppose a new G34 could as well, if it's Blue Label.

Just buy a spare minus connector. The OE connectors have stamped ID marks.

Thanks for the correction but why the excitement?

Thanks for the comments. Think I will just insert the G34 trigger group into the G17 as I liked the stock G34 trigger. Just a little lighter but could qualify as a carry trigger IMO. The Vanek trigger is very nice but maybe a little light for a carry gun.
