A few days ago I purchased a set of AmeriGlo I-dot pros for my g19. Before I left the store I went ahead and had him order a set for my g17.

Yesterday I traded a M&P for a Gen 2.5 g27 with 6 mags, and a calco IWB holster. I am going to shoot it tomorrow and see how I like it.

Now I run into a problem, which gun gets the night sights? The g17 is my primary HD gun, while the g19 is backup for that. The g27 may, or may not take over as my primary carry. Right now my primary carry is a g19, but once summer comes around it will be my Kahr CM9. I should also note that the g17 is my competition gun as well.

I would install them on the gun you are most likely to use in low light situations. At the moment from your description it sounds like your HD gun. AJ 40

The sights are listed to fit almost all glocks, except the .45acp calipers.

I would get night sights on both...I have then on ALL my Glocks...Including my G17 & G27...I have either stock OEM or Meprolights which are the same...

put a light on your 17 or your 19, and use that for your hd pistol, put the night sights on your carry weapon....in your home, you need to SEE what your shooting, thats where the light comes in handy....

on your sd carry weapon, chances are if you ever need it, its because you are in a strugle for your life vrs a home invasion....

I've never cared for night sights on my competition guns so I'd probably use a light on the G17 if you need it, like vman said.

I put a light on my HD gun but I'm thinking of the night sites just so I can see it on the nightstand and no other reason. It's a gen 3 21
