G26/27 vs. 19/23 suppressed

Discussion in 'GATE NFA/Class III' started by Yellowfin, Feb 4, 2012.

  1. I'm doing some budgeting for future purposes and am doing some hard looking at a compact or subcompact as carry gun for my wife. We both like suppressed shooting quite a lot and when we get the chance in the future I definitely think she's going to want to put a can on it. However, she's never carried daily before but that's the first priority, so we'll probably go with subcompact since that's easier to work into the routine. Is it equally as good to put a can on a 26/27 as a 19/23 for range sessions, or does one option work considerably better than the other?

    Hi,

I haven't tried it, but there are a lot more reports of function issues with the subcompact pistols compared to the compact (#19) pistols.
