    Hi guys,

I recently purchased a Lone Wolf .357 Sig BBL for use in my G23, and I had some questions.

First off, my understanding is that I can use my G23 mags as .357 sig is just necked down .40 S&W casings, right? Is there any need to change followers?

Next, any reason to need to change extractors, or springs?

And finally, does this combination like any particular ammo? Conversely, does it dislike any particular ammo?

Please, lets keep this thread ONLY for people who actually own this combo- I don't want rumors, unfounded opinions, and BS just parroted from your neighbors brothers cousins sister in laws gardener.

So, what do you guys who own/shoot this combo have to say about it?

I have it the other way, a 357 Sig Glock 32 with a 40 barrel. The followers on the 357 Sig and 40 magazines are ever so slightly different. That said, I can use either ammo in either magazine and haven't had a hiccup yet.

There is no need to change extractors or springs.

I have the Gen4 Glock 23. And the LW 357sig barrel. I bought it over a year ago. and last week was the first time I shot it.

I shot 357sig round (box) and then went to the OG barrel (40S&W) and shot a box of it. No problems. Since the 357sig are necked down, I don't think they could ever FTF.

But everything worked well with both barrels. No concerns.

I've got a LW .40 barrel in my 31 and use both 31 and 22 mags interchangeably. You'll be fine. Drop the barrel in and go!

I have a Gen3 G23 and shoot an LWD 357 Sig and an LWD 40-9 convsion in it with no mods. Other than the 9mm mags for the 40-9. All three barrels shoot great and don't seem picky about ammo. I reload for the 9mm and 40 with no issues. But loading the 357 Sig is giving me headaches.

    Love the LWDs though.

Bought all together new a G32, Glock 40 barrel and a LWD 40-9 conversion barrel and a few G19 mags, After 500+ round thru each caliber, in the .40 and 9Imm they are mostly my reload, Really, no problems. n 9mm, it is most accurate and in .357, it is the most gun:cool:

I would hope that the .357 Sig drop in barrel would work fine with stock g22/23 parts.
