I was wondering from all g21SF owners what most of you have and why?
The SF with ambi mag release and pic rail or the one with the regular mag release and the Glock rail?:dunno:

Regular rail because I don't need either and standard mag release because there are any number of owners of the ambi that report having problems. Glocks are defensive pistols that work. I see no reason to buy a Glock that has a "new & improved" feature that may not work.

I have one with Glock rail and standard mag release because (1) that's the version I wanted and (2) that is the only G21SF model "approved" for sale to non-LE in California. I have another with Glock rail and ambi release because the LE dealer made a mistake!

BOTH :tongueout: , pic rail w/ambi & glock rail w/single
If I had to go with just one I would choose the glock rail w/single for two reasons:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
1. I had an issue with the ambi release sticking until fixed by a Glock Armorer.
2. The accessory’s are not as snug up on the gun as the Glock rail.

I have the glock rail with the standard mag. release. All of my other Glock weapons are the same.

All the same? You must have the ultra rare G26, G27 and G36 with Glock rails, yes?

My mistake. No rails on the 26, 27, or 36. I ment the mag. release are all standard. I don't have a rail on my 17 either. It was one of the first models.

I have a standard G21, the grip is fine for me. I do wish I had the amb. mag. rel. being a southpaw.

Just bought a standard 21SF after reviewing a used 21SF with ambi and Pitcanny rail.

IPDA/USPSA holster hangup issue a concern with the ambi and Pitcanny rail.

I have the Glock rail and ambi mag release. I don't plan to use the rail, and I am right handed, so these were not hard choices for me. If I could have bought a regular mag release I would have, but mine works fine even with a full magazine.

Standard 3rd-gen G21, Glock rail and standard mag release. I got mine before they came out with the SF.

21SF w/ the ambi release and pic rail. I have had no problems whatsoever with it, it has become my favorite pistol!
