First post, just thought I'd show some of the mods I've done on my glock.

First I cut the grip down to fit the 10rd mags (for concealment, not crap-laws ). And let me tell you... cutting on a brand new Glock... *nervous chattering* ...yeah

    IMG_0360.jpg

Next: the shaping - I sanded down the rough spots, fit the 26 mag in there with some minor cuts, sanded, sanded, and smoothed. Notice the backstrap corner, I beveled it to feel better on the palm.

    IMG_0361.jpg

Then the finished with G19 mag

    IMG_0363.jpg

    And the G26 mag

    IMG_0366.jpg

Then A few nights ago I saw a guy modify the trigger guard for form and function, so I took the plunge!

It really isn't that hard, you just need to get after it. Next... stippling.

I'd love to see your guy's photos too, I need some more ideas!

Hey MK you did a nice clean job on that. For reasons I mentioned in the other thread it is not fot me but I can see the advantages of longer sight radius and 4" barrel velocities that you get out of it.

I read the title and the first thing that came to my mind was "Oh NO!"

What a good job you did. There might be a market for your creation.

You did a great job on that, I don't think I would have the guts to try it. But it sure looks cool.

I've been thinking about turning my G17 into a G19L both for improved concealment and unfortunately, new laws.

Yours looks very clean. Good job.

Nice work BUT why didn't you just buy a G26?

You can round off that rear corner and still maintain rigidity. Congrats on having the balls to do the mod, I did mine on an old police trade-in.

Can't speak for the OP, but the reason I'm gonna get another one done (23 done to 27 grip) is...
    Longer sight radius
    Longer barrel for velocity
And most importantly, an accessory rail.
The short grip makes it easier to conceal and I can always carry a 22 mag for a reload.

Nice job. Please do not post this on a 1911 forum, it will upset those guys.
