Anyone having issues with the slide not locking back after the last round on their Gen 4 G17? Two of the three magazines are acting up, any ideas to fix the issue.

Most popular reason is user error by hitting the slide stop inadvertently, do the mags lock the slide back when empty and not shooting? Have someone else shoot it and eliminate or confirm its not the shooter

If all do it I'm leaning towards user error.

Okay...so you haven't heard anything about a problem? Since I haven't changed my shooting style with this new pistol and the slides lock back on all my other Glocks, I will go back and ensure that I'm doing everything right to remove this from he equation.

Why do some automatically blame the shooter. Next it will be the ammo. :tongueout:

If not shooter or ammunition it's the position the tung is held in the shooters mouth,or if he has his toes crossed or not while shooting. :wow: SJ 40

May I make a suggestion? Take the offending magazines apart, clean everything and look for any protrusions on the interior walls. If everything seems OK then be aware that Glock, GmbH/Inc. uses outside contract spring suppliers and not all Glock magazine springs are the same. This is, 'Why' the first thing I do with a new Glock is to call Wolff Gunsprings and replace all the original springs that came with my new Glock with vastly superior Wolff Gunsprings.

 The Hell you say!
