I realize 700 rounds isn't a lot of rounds, but it isn't insignificant either. I bought my G17 Gen 4 a few weeks back; it is completely stock, as I bought it, except I installed a Ghost Rocket connector with a Dave Spaulding cut. What a difference! Out of those 700 rounds, 300 have been with a TLR-2 clamped, and I mean clamped on the rail. I use a coin to tighten the screw. I have had no issues whatsoever - no cases to the face, body, arm, consistent ejection, no FTEs, no FTFs, nothing. I shoot about 200-250 rounds a week so I'll be hitting over 1000 rounds through it in about another week. I hope this is an indication that Glock has at least got the G17 Gen 4 problems resolved. My RSA is an 024; my extractor is marked 1 and has the dip in it. The pics didn't focus correctly, but I could see no signs of abnormal wear. There were some 'high points' that had a polished look but I suspect that's just a normal wear pattern. My ejector is a 30274. Well, it's a matter of time and rounds now to see how everything holds up.
