Hey guys, I recently picked up an FDE G17 Gen 4 that was born 09/12 and I noticed on the back of the frame there is this nub on the frame, located on the back of the gun right beneath the slide. Has anyone ever seen this and know what the reason is behind it?

    Thanks

Supposedly that's an attachment point for GLOCK's beavertail blackstrap that has yet to be released.
