I just bought a 36, test fired 7-8-11, bought 7-19-11, and have yet to fire it (will Saturday). I was looking at the mags, and comparing them to my 17 mags, I noticed that the follower? on my 17 mags goes up farther than the front of the mag, and the bullet never touches the front of the mag as it feeds forward. The 36 mags do not. The bottom of the bullet case actually touches the metal front of the mag before it goes up into the barrel. Like when you unload the mag, the bullets seem to hesitate when you push them forward and they hit the front of the mag. Is this normal? Will it cause a FTF? My 17 has 2200+ rounds through it with no problems at all, knock on wood. Thanks for your time.

Replace the mag spring if you experience a feeding issue.
