I have a friend who is thinking of selling his ported G-24. I was thinking it might be a real tack driver if I put in a 6 inch Lone Wolf barrel in 357 Sig. Anyone out there have any experience with this set up?

Sounds like a winner to me.

    I prefer 357Sig over 40S&W.

Is .357 Sig inherently more accurate than .40 S&W somehow? I know, I know it's all personal preference and the nice thing about a Glock is it can be personalized & customized a lot easier.

I say do it and let us know.

I've got a G27 with six barrels in three lengths, finishes and calibers.
My favorite is a Storm Lake 4.16" extended ported black Isonite QPQ 357 Sig.

    I say go for it.
And would add that the porting on my 357 Sig works much better than I expected in terms of recoil reduction and muzzle flip.
