Any suggestions for the cause and the cure?
Only a concern if you are saving the brass for reloads. At some point during the extraction, the case rim is hitting something hard. Possibly from hitting the hard ground, if you are standing on concrete.
If every case is like this, then it's someplace on the gun. This is where you might try different ammo loads or recoil springs to change the extraction dynamics.
Only known cure is to stop shooting. Mine has been doing it for 15 years. I just pick up the brass and reload without worry.
LOL, I think it may be ammo related, underpowered cheap ammo.
What ammo are you shooting and have you done any modifications to the gun?
