From G30sf to ATI Titan EDC question.

Discussion in '1911 Forums' started by Small Tony, Jun 12, 2012.

  1. I still mainly carry my G30sf daily but I have really fallen for the ATI Titan for it being thin, tight and crisp. I also have a G36 for a thin carry piece but the ATI is getting more carry time lately.

My main concern is the thumb safety when drawing from holster vs. simply pulling out the G30sf.

I guess my question is what's the best way to learn unholstering the 1911 ready for use? Or does it come down to simply drawing and reholstering practice? Any instructional videos?

Just feels real different going from the one plat form to the 1911.

Any tips would greatly be appreciated.

It will become second nature. Dry fire practice is all you need.

Somewhere between you putting your hand on the butt of the gun to where you're pointing at the target with finger on the trigger ready to blast, you have to disengage the safety lever.
