This morning, my best friend woke up wanting to get a Gen 3 G26. Thinking we'd have to look high and low to find a shop that had one in stock, her first call was to our local GS who had one with night sights and they put it aside for her.

We went and grabbed it and headed straight to the range in another city.

It was flawless and she's a happy camper. I shot a few rounds through it and loved it too.

    Oh happy day. :wavey:

Nothing better than wanting a gun and being able to pick it up then shoot it in the same day!

    I bought a gen 3 26, M&P 9mm, and a S&W J-frame yesterday at my favorite lgs.
Cant go wrong with the glock.

I see your in Lakeland.. not terribly far from where I'm at if I'm not mistaken. Where'd you go to get your G26 at? Decent price?

My EDC G26 has never been in my safe. It's undoubtedly the sweetest all-around firearm I've ever owned.

I told my friend that you invited her to sign onto GT and she did and posted today for the first time in the "Face to face with evil thread".

    Thanks for suggesting it.

Hoping she and you continue to enjoy the G26. I continue to believe it is among Glock's best.

Awesome story... In MD it's "find the gun, spend an hour doing paperwork, pay extra for a borelock if you don't have one, and then wait a month for the paperwork to clear".
