Fredericksburg AR armorer.......

Discussion in 'Glockers of the Old Dominion' started by punkey71, Jul 29, 2009.

  1. I have an AR with a stuck bcg (closed action). I lent it to a friend and his son and they said it "locked up" after they had cleared it (closed the action)and set it down. The charging handle moves about an inch then freezes. The bolt does not move from what I have seen....with the lower removed.

I'm looking for an armorer in the F'Burg area. I'm not looking for a deal or a discount....I just don't want to go to Gander and pay out the butt for someone to finger F my rifle for $200/hr. My friend from work went to Gander to have his rear sight on his glock put on and they charged him $35! The tool costs $100!!

Any recommendations for a good/fair F'Burg AR armorer to look at my rifle?

    Thanks,

  3. Wow...Tom. Thank you.

I will give you a call tomorrow.

    Best,

  4. Tom is a man of his word. Despite my repeated attempts to pay him for his service he would not bend.

After a few short minutes Tom took care of the issue....stuck case and bolt.

Thanks again Tom! If anyone is the F'Burg area needs an armorer give him a call. Nice facility right in Central Park. We got talking and appartenly he has a huge outdoor range in Stafford for training...I think I see a carbine course in my future....

    Best,
