    1st Generation 1986 - 1989
    G17, G17L, G18, G19

    AA000 - FG999

    Approximately 12 1st Gen G19s exist.
Austrian proofs are to be expected. Triggerguard is not marked with "17"
    2nd Generation 1989 - 1998
    G17 series, G18, G19, G20, G21, G22, G23, G24, G24C, G31, G32

G17 2nd Gen starts FH000 and are Austrian proofed, triggerguards are marked with "17". Approx. LP-prefix Austrian proofs end, but triggerguard is still marked "17". "17" mark ends with introduction of G22 in the Nx-prefix range.
    G22 introduced 1990 - Nx range
G19 2nd Gens start in 1988. Austrian proofs end around same time as G17 - triggerguard marks end at same time with the introduction of the G23.
