I have one on my 26. All mags have GAP floor plate extensions in case I would ever have a problem getting the mag to drop free.

Just wish they made one for the 30S. Should be ok without one right?

Will be just fine without, if it were necessary they would be included. I just think they look a little more complete and help prevent all the crud from nonstop wear falling into the hole.

Thanks. Hopefully they will make one for it. I do have one in my 32 though.

I have one on my Gen4 G19. I don't use the flimsy backstrap attachments anyway so I got the one without the screw attachment.

The irony is that the purpose of that hole is to let debris fall out that has accumulated inside. It is open like that for a reason.

I have them in my Glocks. To me it makes the pistol look finished and have had no problems because of them.

Seems the common reason is cosmetic, not functional. But then people pay more for Gen4, or OD.

Like putting spinners on your car wheels, it more a matter of taste, and freedom of choice.

There are reports of these plugs splitting the plastic on the grip. Personally they are a waste of money, in my opinion, but go for it.

I have to agree but disagree with your comparisons at the same time. With the Gen 4 there are more than cosmetic differences that some might find more suiting to their needs however i believe the difference in price is mainly because of the inclusion of a 3rd magazine. With OD, i have seen people pay more for it, but will never understand it. I wanted an OD G26 for the longest time however refused to pay a penny over what any used Glock is worth to get one. Just picked one up last week for $499 from CDNN. Worth the wait to me? Definitely. Worth extra money to me? Nope.

To expand on my previous post, that channel in the frame serves a functional purpose which is to let liquid and debris run out of the gun that has gotten into the trigger group. Will plugging this hole ever be a problem for 99% of people? Nope. I doubt many Glock owners will ever drop their pistol in water or mud, and if they do, I am fairly certain most would clean them before attempting to fire them again anyway.

So it's probably best not to plug it then right?

Like I mentioned, I doubt it will ever make a difference for 99% of people. I say if you like the way it looks, go for it.
