Any of you that know Carl at Four Seasons knew that his beloved dog, Holly recently passed away. He has started a campaign to raise money for MSPCA in Holly's name. All you have to do is donate used or new firearm related gear and he will take care of the rest.

    Four Seasons Firearm's website reads:

"As many of you know Holly was a member of our family here at Four Seasons, in an effort to help her continue to make a difference in our lives and the lives of other animals we have decided to give something new a try.

We are going to collect your unused, unwanted, old, forgotten about, dust collecting firearms accessories and sell them online at a number of different online auctions sites. Two thirds of the proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell Animal Medical Center (MSPCA – Angell) and other local shelters in name of "The Friends of Holly". The remaining 1/3 will be paid to the person who will be picking up, sorting, cleaning, photographing and selling the items on various auctions.

This idea was founded by a customer and friend of ours who (like many of you) has a drawer or box someplace in your home filled with gun accessories that are no longer in use. Bring us your old and unused items and we'll turn them in to donations to worthy causes. When dropping off your item we will have a simple form for you fill out to tell us about the item, it’s condition, etc. so that we can accurately list it online.

Here is what we are looking for:

    Holsters Gun Cases

    Pistol Safes Slings

    Sights Scopes

    Sings Mounts

    Lights Ear Muffs

    Locks Range Bags

Any other things along these lines

We do not want any restricted that can not be shipped nationwide, so no magazines, complete firearms, etc.

    Here is what to do.

Dig out that box of unused stuff
    Dust it off
Fill out the donation form (found below)
Drop your item off at the shop
    We’ll do the rest
To make this as easy as possible we are going to have a drop box at the shop where you can drop off your unwanted items.

If you have something of more significant value and would like to discuss donating it, but keeping a portion of selling price for yourself please let us know and we will be happy to make special arrangements with you.

For items like this please email Troy at arvg24@comcast.net

If you are not familiar with MSPCA here is a brief introduction.

The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell Animal Medical Center (MSPCA-Angell) is a national and international leader in animal protection and veterinary medicine. Founded in 1868, it is the second-oldest humane society in the United States. Their services include animal protection and adoption, advocacy, humane education, law enforcement and the highest-quality veterinary care available anywhere in the world.

Financial Summary: The MSPCA or other organizations will receive 66% of the total proceeds from the auctions. We (Four Seasons) will not keep one penny. Everything will be donated to animal hospitals and shelters. The rest is paid to the person who will be running the auctions, picking up items at the shop, cleaning them up and keeping track of the sales for his time and efforts. We will post all the details of the auctions here showing how much was sold and how much was donated on this page."
