For the Jacksonville guys... I found about 15-20 boxes of .40 at the wal-mart on San Jose. Winchester brand.

    Ummmm....not anymore!

The WM on Phillips had some .40, too. About 8 boxes. No 9mm or 45ACP.

I bought some Independence 45ACP from Shooters for my new toy. $17/50rnds...they had plenty.

Got lucky. Showed up to the Wal-Mart ammo case right as the guy was loading it up with 9mm Rem UMC 250-round mega packs. Could have had 12 if I wanted. Took 4.

(PS- I hate Rem UMC as I've noted previously, but WWB is even that much harder to find right now, so I'll stick with whatever's available.)

Haha... Saw those few boxes around 6pm last night. Wondered how long it was gonna last.

I've got a couple extra boxes of the winchester 9mm. If I dont find deal on a G26/19 soon, I'll just sell it off.

I have had limited results in Orlando walmart stores. I call and/or visit several different stores several times a week. Here is what I have found so far

I wonder if anyone in the Orlando area would be interested in trading some brass cased .45acp for some Aluminum cased Blazer? I've got a bunch of the latter, and have started reloading...so I'd much rather be shooting something like Winchester and have some once fired brass when I'm done than shoot up the rest of my Blazer and have to scrounge for brass.

Had you previously gotten rid of a 9mm gun and now you're left over with what you have? Or am I reading too much into it?

    Nope. :)

But the local ww's have still been pretty good about .45 (and .40). At some point there'll be a 30SF that's gonna need feedin'.

The Sports Authority near me is stocking up too...seen lots of ammo last week or so there and at Dick's. So, it seems to me the supply chain is starting to come back. I will continue to buy a few boxes here and there when I see it (I now have like 6 different types of 9mm in my stash ).
