I was looking for the perfect deep CCW (as light as possible) but could not bring myself to buy a small pocket semi, I have had one in the past but sold it. took a hard look at the Ruger LCR and almost buy one but stoped by a shop near work and I know most of the guys that work there and talking to one of them mention they had a 340SC in mint condition, so I saw the price $650.00. in the end I was ask if I really wanted I could have it for $550.00 and I could not resist because I know a 340PD goes for $800.00 brand new and this 340SC is near new condition.

Off topic, but Rikki, is that a 95 Vette? I had a 95 just
like it. Wish I'd kept it.

so my wife gave me a Desantis pocket holster and carring my 340SC is great, at least for me the difference 638 vs 340SC is night and day. Im very happy to say that I found (for me) the perfect CCW.

just got back from my first range time with the 340SC, I tryed some Winchester 130gr .38spcl and took me a few rounds to get familiar with the trigger. also tryed Winchester PDX1 130gr .38spcl+P with very good results.

Nothing Plain Jane about that car. They only made 600 in
automatic. My tag read 1OF600:cool: Anway, glad you have one.

Well, I'd like to get a 6" lift kit for it...too low for these old bones...Back on topic- I got a 340SC that goes EVERYWHERE with me- man what a pocket rocket.
My old eyes needed an XS bigdot...had to fit it myself, but am way happy with the finished product.
