    a couple actually, at a local gun shop and it's still there where I left it. They were asking $3,800.00. F that. Be assured someone will pay that price.

    What is a normal, non-AWB scare price for one?

    I bought mine for $890 NIB plus shipping and a $15 FFL fee a year ago.

    Hopefully all this dies down eventually and I'll be able to actually afford one. Only have my Glock currently due to financial reasons, but might be coming into some money soon, and I should hopefully be able to afford a $900 AR, but definitely not a $3k AR.

    Only $3,800?? That's a steal! :rofl::rofl:

    So glad I picked mine up 6 months ago! The little voice in my head, as well as mixflip's purchase of one made me do it.

    that's when I got mine too, I got it from buds and had it sent to Florida, paid a total price of 1283. Mine is still unfired.

    it's tempting to put it on Gunbroker for 3000 but the collector in me will not allow it.

    I simply won't sell mine either just because it's one of my favorite rifles. I've got only about 300 rounds through mine since I have to rely on someone else's range membership to take me down there and I hate bothering him. I just signed up there myself this month but there is about a one year waiting period. :crying: The range I belong to now does not allow it there.

    Sig716 was $1,800 before. Found one for $4,600 the other day. No way I'd get anything in 5.56 or .223 now or even down the road at this point. All the idiot's are buying them up and it will take years for ammo to come back down even if there is no ban.

    BTW, I do see many great barely fired AR's on the market in a year or two. When some of these younger newbies are sitting in the dark and/or want that I phone 6s or whatever... that's when I'll jump. Some of these people paid 3X the MSRP on these thing's with their CC's @ 20%. I can wait...:cool:

    For that price I would buy a custom 1911, not an AR :whistling:
