    That is friggin awesome!

There's some serious technology in those cars. Try that with your NASCAR.

So I wonder what it would have been like to have been In 1st gear, rather than neutral, for the SSB.....

Electronic control of the throttle, no driver needed.

Yep. I just read recently that the MotoGp throttle "blipping" that is normally done by mechanics to warm the engines is now done by computer software.

When there's an actual person driving the car instead of a computer like in F1, this becomes much more difficult :)

The technology in F1 is astounding. They rival Nasa engineers in skill.

Yep, your head would explode if you knew what they can do with software now. If you are interested let me know I'll talk about it if you want to now more.

I am sure YOU can drive an F1 car.....

First 0.75G turn and you would probably soil yourself...

F1 has actually dialed back the technology in the cars in the past few years.

    Still the tech is impressive.

Well, if I did, the car would clean itself then call a laundering service for me and make an appointment for when the race is over.

It was just a poke back at the guys that ruin EVERY NASCAR thread taking about how much they don't care about NASCAR or how horrible NASCAR is. Now, they apparently do it in other, unrelated to NASCAR, threads as well. :)
