    As that article says, "Football is big in Texas because Texans believe football reflects the values of competition, risk and winning."

    That spirit of competition, risk taking and winning is what separates Texas from the other "pussified" states.

    Some people's lives actually revolve around high school football in Texas.
    They're even fanatical about it in some areas of the state.

    We teach our male students to be aggressive, to lead and to win, not to be some form of metrosexual wimp.

    Texas love to win, as evidenced by our love of football.
