For any officers, current or retired, who has carried, or has worked for a department that is using or had used the Federal 9BPLE or Winchester Q4174 9mm 115JHP+P+ load, please share any stories or experiences regarding OIS incidents with either of these loads. The more specific the info, the better. Thanks.

I carried both loads while with the Border Patrol back in the early 1990s, plus the Hydra Shok 124 grain +P+. I was never involved in a shooting, but those shootings I was aware of were one-shot stops. I don't recall the patrol ever complaining about the performance of the +P+ loads... there were a number of them than complained about a lot of other things such as Glocks cause they were made out of plastic, but never heard any official condemnation of the 9mm +P+.
