I have a question for those of you with more shotgun savvy than me...

I am looking for a well built, but reasonably priced side folding stock for a Remington 870 Wingmaster. Here's the kicker though... I need to be able to attach a single point sling.

So I was looking for some type of attachment like this...

Would something like that work with a folder? A preferred option would be a folding stock with a built in attachment, but I couldn't find anything like that. I would like to keep the cost around $100....

    Any thoughts, or suggestions?

Problem is that the folder would fold to the left, im guessing, since the ejection port is on the right. This might interfere with a left-mounted sling location.

In the first few minutes of this video the operator is utilizing a single-point with a retractable stock. Perhaps another option.

Most folders I've seen fold to the right, like this...

I'm not sure a retractable stock will work. The shotgun will need to be slung (with the stock closed), and held secure on the dominate gun hand side with a slung weapon (belt) catch. The need is to be able to secure the shotgun behind the dominate arm, to be able to access a handgun, or use both hands, but be able access the shotgun again quickly....

It is a similar set up like when SWAT team member slings a pistol grip (no stock) breaching shotgun. I need to be able to carry it the same way, but have a stock as well. It's to able to carry a less lethal in situations where hand need to be free, and don't need a shotgun crossing the entire front of the body.

I don't know if the rear sling plate will work because all the less-lethal shotguns I have seen and used have had fixed stocks and had other officers doing the arrests etc. This might be an option but I was up at the local police academy and there was a LASO motorcycle officer with a 870 with a knoxx folding stock that has a sling attachment at the end of the pistol grip. He had a quick detach sling mount on there and keeps a 1pt sling inside one of his bike compartments when its secured to his bike when he is on patrol. It is more than $100 and with it being a top folder and it not flat on the top of the receiver I don't know how well it will work for what you want to do.
