OK, so I'm a moron. I set up my girlfriends old P133 Win98 system the other night so I could play some old favorite games, and decided to try to clean up the system a little bit of the junk and fodder that various programs like to slip into startup files. I removed some kind of program from the Win.ini called "flip" something or other, and couldn't get back into windows after that. ...I think it was that, anyway. Anyhow, did some troubleshooting in DOS and couldn't do a search for the file using:

    dir/s *flip*.exe

because it just did a directory listing of everything on c:. It's been a while since I've had to use DOS... Am I not using proper protocol or something? Anyone know wtf this file may be?
