Sounds good to me. My family thinks I am nuts to spend more than $5 for a flashlight.

They think my surfires are weird.

Guess who they call if the power goes out. :)

Well chevydriver, it looks like it's just you and me!! I can't believe all these flashlight questions I see strewn throughout the board, and you are the only one that has replied!

My wife feels the same way...she about had a heart attack when she found out how much I paid for my M3!!

Hi... My name is Dieseler and I'm a flashlight addict.... whenever I see a extraordinary flashlight I am driven by some unknown force to buy it.

... There are at least 2 flashlights in my car and I cant remember how many around my house anymore!

There are a few discussion boards I've found that have dedicated forums for flashlights. CPF www.CandlePowerForums.com is the dedicated discussion board for fans of flashlights (we call ourselves 'Flashaholics'). There isn't much discussion of the "tactical" flashlight or WeaponLight from the perspective of firearms users but there is nothing to stop this and we welcome new members.

I have a few SureFires * myself and have some friends at SureFire. If a flashlight forum is created here on GlockTalk I'd like to be around to pass on my knowledge of SureFire's products and learn more about how they are used (and abused).

    Best regards,

    Al

Wow Size15s, I about fell out of my chair when I saw that picture!! I think you have more surefires than the LEO store I go to!! Here is my modest collection...the 7 starting on the left are LED, then the rest are surefires...

It's not how many SureFires you've got, but what you do with them that counts! I have them for show and tell mostly. Most people have them for hard-working tools.

What do you think of the M3T? It's one of my favourite flashlights.

CPF is almost as bad at GT

Lots of areas to get lost in ;f

There's not much weapon talk on CPF just like there's not much flashlight talk here.

P.S. It's a shame Al can't have anything to mount those weaponlights on :soap:

I absolutly love it. It is the light that sits on my nightstand at night. It was funny...we went camping and I took it with me. I was shining it in the woods, and the ranger came up to me thinking I was spotlighting!! Needless to say, another person sold on the sheer power of the surefire...

Add my vote for a flashlight forum. You can never have too many.

I carry a Streamlight Stinger. I keep a 6 D cell maglight in the car. I bought it in Sri lanka. Until then the biggest I had seen was 4. I'm going to try and have a lead weight made the same size and shape as a D cell battery with a conductive wire through the middle. The light won't be as bright, but it'll hurt a lot more. Of course, the sticger is for my light anyway.
