I bought a UTG flashlight with a pressure switch and I was not impressed. The light worked fine but the pressure switch would not work each time I applied pressure. Not a good thing to have to rely on.

Did a just get a bad one or are these switches not reliable?

    You probably just got a bad one...the 1 in 10,000 :)
Call 'em & Send the switch back, they'll solve it.

Air pressure? I’m pretty sure that’s how it “works”. Is there another brand that works differently, more reliable?

Not "air pressure," airsoft is a sport like paintball. Look it up
