flag etiquette question

    i have a big question, i can not find out what is the proper way to address a flag while in uniform while at a flag retirement ceremony. when do i salute and if possible can someone provide a link to the military reg for this thanks.

    well tonight i went to the flag retirement ceremony i did some checking and it was a civilian and retired military held event so i went in civilians. i carried my son and it was a beautiful thing very professional and respectful. the best thing was i was invited to help. my son got to see a side of the military that most people do not get to see several grown men and their love for the country and flag :patriot:
