    Long Answer: "You should always research these things yourself, as it's easy to find the relevant statutes online and who knows what kind of crap jerks like me on GT or elsewhere might feed you."

    risk your freedom and life if you unwisely cause fear or attract attention with that knife. It is possible to cause fear and/or attract the attention of LEO's without knowingly violating a law.

    One may in fact become arrested wrongly, in violation of law, with all potential risks attached to such arrest, by visibly carrying weapons or claimed-to-be weapons around those of nervous disposition.

    CYA first, THEN decide *IF* carrying a fixed blade knife is in your intersts.

    In my own opinion attracting attention from nervous people is unwise.
