has anyone had first hand experiences with them recently? if so elaborate please.

what was the quality of the ammo? particularly in 10mm defensive stuff?

i see they load the 135gr. Nosler h.p. as well as the 155gr. XTP.

price look very good. but is it "all that"?

    thanks.

I have some of their 10mm 180gr gold dots. Shipping was quick as they had them in stock. Function has been fine, I do not have a chronograph so I cannot test velocity but they claim 1250fps. Currently I am waiting on an order of .380 golden sabers (waiting on brass). two thumbs up from me thus far.

I bought a bunch of their 10mm's in various forms. Unfortunately I have yet to test them. But I have read nothing but positive reviews on their stuff here and elsewhere, so I am not concerned.

What I can comment on is their customer service...very good. Whenever I sent an e-mail, they usually responded within the hour or the next hour, even if I sent mine after-hours. Sometimes they didn't get back to me right away, but they never ignored me even when I may have been asking too many similar questions that might annoy many, if not most normal people. I can't say that about some other companies.

The only thing I didn't like was the outdated web-site. You won't really know what they have in stock until you ask them. But they will tell you if and what they have when.

A year or so ago I bought alot of 10mm from him.(155,180,200xtp, rainer 165gr, and nosler 135gr). It was all accurate and fun to shoot. Recently I ordered 155gr xtp in 400corbon. Very pleased with the results. When I leave a message on his site, he always seems upfront and answers all questions. I trust his ammo as much as any major factory ammo. Quality stuff .

They were out of 10 when I ordered, but made some in less than a month after my initial order. I actually dragged a little after (money reasons), but still managed to get some. Just put in your order and treat it like a wish list...you may wish to change your order later according to what will be available...i.e. forget about Gold Dots as Speer is withholding bullets from everyone but their own line.

Well that sucks. It's probably because they can't get the brass...or primers or whatever.

looks like ill just sit on my meager stash of self defensive stuff and shoot the whimpy ammo from the "big three" for practice.

One of you said they loaded a 200gr xtp?

Whats the velocity? I'm looking for a double tap alternative for woods carry. 200gr. xtp at 1200 fps should put the hurt on a black bear or cougar!

Going to be a while till I can roll my own.

Only alternative I would go with for woods carry is Buffalo Bore's 220 gr. Hard Cast - FN (1,200 fps/ME 703 ft. lbs.). They also make a 200gr. FMJ with Montana Gold bullets.

I believe the website claims 1100fps.
