[/IMG] I finally managed to bag a deer, a 2 point, with my bow. I shot this buck at about 30 yards at 1645 last night. He ducked the string a bit and I hit him in the spine. He dropped on the spot, but still had use of his front legs and tried to crawl away. I put another arrow into him to get it over with ASAP. Temp was in the 60's and I had used Primos "The Can" estrus bleat call about 5 minutes before he showed up in my shooting lane. I originally thought it was a doe and until I walked up on him, I was sure it was a doe. I used a Hoyt Raider Powerflex, 60 lbs, 29" Redhead Carbon Supreme 250 arrow, and Muzzy 3 blade 100 gr. broadhead. This is my first season bowhunting and I'm hooked on this stuff now. This was also my 11th time out this year in pursuit of some venison. I probably have over 50 hours standing in a tree, 17 feet up, just waiting for the right opportunity. Wanna kill these ads?
