You must have been a very good boy last year!

Is the Springer the one with the Operator II's that you posted? Your Compact is gorgeous. I looked at that thread earlier.

Where is the sub-zero stuff??? I need something that can last as long as my hands which on some days is about three magazines between warm ups. I absolutely hate shooting at indoor public ranges. I've never had a problem with galling. My guns are cleaned and lubed after each time I use them. We've been using a mix of (top secret) mix of 50-50 automatic transmission fluid and engine assy. lube. I think we've used plain old Mobil 1 for winter pistol league!

What size 1911 is that? Looks like a Commander length, but maybe a little longer? Regardless, a beautiful 1911!

Congrats! I recently bought a Sig Tac Ops and have been very pleased with it so far. That one should be great for CC.

What I know about Sig 1911's would fit upon the head of a straight pin. What is it?

It's nice looking. When will you get it?
    Congrats. Start saving your money...

Sig RCS from their custom shop. 4.25" barrel, 7+1 two toned with rosewood compact grips. It's just under 30oz empty. Been wanting this one for awhile, my dad made it worse buying the nitron finish model last year! Finally had the money and the desire to buy.

    Should have next week.

Sounds Sweet! I'll go look it up!
Do you intend to carry it? You do know it won't be your last though, right? Worse than Skittles.

Described as possibly the 'Quintessential Carry Piece'.
I hope that it's everything you expect it to be.
    Congrats!

Beach what kind of skiing do you do? Or does that mean something else? Regardless, Happy Winter! I'm hopin' for a little
cross country skiing tomorrow or the next day.

Thanks I do plan on carrying it so I'm looking forward to getting it and getting comfortable with it. I've ordered a custom IWB with extra mag slot from my custom leather guy that makes my Glock holsters - Gaunt Leatherworks.

As far as skiing goes, I've been a competitive water skier since college. Slalom and trick skiing. I also snow ski.
